SOT, Hassan Rouhani, Iranian President (Farsi): "All the purposes of the US are to bring the government to the negotiation table, through maximum pressure and while people are in a tough path. This is impossible. We announced our word to the world explicitly and powerfully before and we also announce that we will never go to the negotiation table in a position of weakness."

SOT, Hassan Rouhani, Iranian President (Farsi): "No matter what the next [US] administration will be and regardless of what parties, our plan - and word has always been the same - we said that if the US returns to the JCPOA and lifts sanctions, it could have a presence within the framework of 5+1 and negotiate. As long as it does not happen, there will be no possibility of negotiation with the US."

SOT, Hassan Rouhani, Iranian President (Farsi): "It is crystal clear for whole the world that peace and stability in this region are impossible without Iran's presence and participation. Peace and stability in the region will be possible with the presence of an important and powerful country like Iran."

SOT, Hassan Rouhani, Iranian President (Farsi): "In the first months that the election was held, there was something in my mind for some reason. I expressed that to the leader [Ayatollah Khamenei] that this government has come to work and if he thought, for any reason, that another person or government would be able to work better, I was ready to resign and he vehemently rejected it and said that no, and I'd like you to keep working for the last hours and minutes and I will support you."

SOT, Hassan Rouhani, Iranian President (Farsi): "People should come to ballot boxes and in my view, the presence of people is a good response to the US. Their presence would surely be effective in strengthening us and weakening the foe."
